Find volunteer opportunities through the Public Interest Resource Center
The Public Interest Resource Center is a student-run organization dedicated to helping you find both legal and non-legal community service activities. We connect students with legal aid organizations by maintaining a blog full of public interest volunteer opportunities and events.
PIRC also recognizes students who have dedicated their time to community service activities through two awards: the Certificate of Service for completing 50 hours of service in a school year and the Dean’s Distinguished Service Award for completing 250 hours of service during a student's time in law school. The awards will be announced in spring at the annual Public Service Awards ceremony.
In order to be eligible for these awards, you must submit your service hours to PIRC. We will track your hours and let you know when you are eligible for an award.
