Chicago-Kent students worked with local attorneys in the Chicago Intellectual Property Alliance (CIPA) to judge entries at the Chicago Student Science Fair, exposing high school students to patent law, and offering the Chicago-Kent law students a chance to use their IP knowledge in tandem with local lawyers." The science fair was held on April 1-3, 2005. (04/2005)
The Giles Rich Patent Moot Court Team, Scott Cole and Scott Turk, has won the Midwest Regional Competition. They will be competing in April at the National Competition in Washington , DC . This is the second year in a row that the Chicago-Kent team has reached the nationals. (02/2005)
Dean Harold J. Krent participated in the Shanghai IPR Workshop 2004 entitled, "Elevating Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in China's Largest City and Leading Industrial Center," in Shanghai, China, on October 28-30, 2004. (10/2004)
